ABOUT US

Our mission is to teach children ages six through 13 Lithuanian folk art, songs, dances, history, geography, and current events. Classes in Lithuanian support existing language fluency. Classes in English incorporate some Lithuanian words and phrases relevant to the students. The cultural program, which emphasizes participation, affirms understanding and love for Lithuanian heritage. Participation in the annual Eglute/Kucios and Mother's Day programs is expected.

We welcome everyone of Lithuanian heritage, regardless of place of birth, ability to speak Lithuanian, or current knowledge of Lithuanian heritage, to learn with us! Please contact us if you would like to join us.

Classes are Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 165 Rhinecliff Drive, Rochester, NY 14618, starting the Saturday after Labor Day, and ending the third Saturday in May.
